Shipping

You must be available at the time of delivery to manually unload the shipment. The transport company’s driver may bring light packages to your door but may not be able to assist with unloading heavy or awkward packages. If you are expecting heavy or awkward packages make sure you have the necessary help to carry them safely from the truck. Work gloves and safety shoes are recommended.

You are responsible for confirming the delivery time with the trucking company. Craft-Bilt is not responsible for any delays or inconveniences that may occur due to shipping delays or failed communication attempts between the trucking company and you.

In the case of damaged (or perceived damage) freight or shortages, you must note the damages or shortage on the delivery paperwork at time of delivery and also provide photographs of the damaged material and packaging. If there is no carbon copy of the delivery paperwork provided to you, take a photograph of the paperwork with the noted damage. You will then provide this info to Craft-Bilt as soon as possible to assist with their freight claim, knowing that without this information, Craft-Bilt will not be re-reimbursed for the damage and consequently any replacement parts provided will be at your cost.

You are responsible for additional trucking costs, such as but not limited to, repeated delivery attempts, as well as beyond charges, or tailgate charges that are not part of the original arrangement with Craft-Bilt.

When you order you give implied consent to provide your contact information to the shipping company. We only provide the minimal amount of information necessary to deliver your order like: name, address, telephone and email. Review our privacy policy for complete details. Our privacy policy does not extend to 3rd party vendors like shipping companies, we can supply their contact info at your request.
